Two members of NMAS traveled to Los Molinos Spain for a seminar between the 17th and 21st September 2003. Sensei Haughey and Jack Mackay. The event was arranged by Kilohana Europe , this is a Hawaiian Based organization headed by Sensei Steven Nicholls.

Los Molinos is some 52 kilometres northwest of Madrid, it is a beautiful little village nestling in the mountains. Sensei Haughey described the seminar as "the best that I have ever attended", not just because of the calibre of Instructors that were present but because of the great feeling of "family" that was present there all through each and everyday. Kilohana means "best family" and that was how everyone was treated. Instructors and students from all over Europe and America milled together like they were all old friends. It was a great experience.
